Create automatic filters on DauThau.info
Step 1 - Sign up for an account: First, you need to sign up for an account on DauThau.info software to be able to use the functions of the software.
Step 2 - Register the software package: After registering and logging in successfully, you can choose to buy VIP1, VIP2, VIP4, VIP5 or VIEWEB packages to search for bid information by automatic filter. For VVIP1, VIP2, VIP4, VIP5 you will have 05 automatic filters and the feature to receive automatic notifications via email and many other features, you can refer to this article for more details in the article Tra cứu và theo dõi thông tin thầu tự động; With the VIEWEB package, you only have 02 filters for quick lookup when accessing the website to view information.
For accounts that have not yet upgraded to a VIP or Vieweb account, you can still refer to this article to learn how to use Dauthau.info's "Advanced Search" function more effectively.
Step 3 - Access the search filter interface: Right at the homepage of DauThau.info, look to the right here, you will see the form "Search for contractor information" as shown in photo 1.1, you click the item "Advanced search" to open the advanced search filter interface as shown in image 1.2

For accounts registered VIP and have more than 1 filter, to manage and create new filters, at the menu bar you access Members => Manage filters search to access the filter management page like figure 1.3, here you also "Add new filter" as instructed in step next.

Step 4 - Filter Settings:
To create a complete filter, there are many fields of information that you must declare for the most efficient and accurate lookup. Therefore, you need to understand the meaning and effect of the following fields:
1. Search by form: You click to select Search form by "Selection contractor" or "Selection investor" depending on the search form, you select the information fields in the "Type of information" next follow will change accordingly.
2. Type of search information: In this section you can choose the search information including:
Selection of contractors:
- Notice of invitation to bid
- Contractor selection plan.
- Result of contractor selection.
- Notice inviting prequalification/interest.
- Bid opening results
- Results preliminary results.
Note: Depending on each bidding package posted, the above information items will be provided. Some bidding packages only have Notice of Bidding and Contractor Selection Plan Therefore, it is recommended that bidders search by these two information, If not, the company converts the information type.
Investor selection:
- Announcement of project list.
- Notice inviting bids from investors.
- Notice inviting prequalification/interest.
- Investor selection plan.
- Investor selection results.
- Result of investor prequalification.
3. Main keyword: Is the keyword that will be in the returned results or not if you have additional requirements in the next information fields.
Note: You are not required to enter this field. For each search keyword you are separated by a "," (comma), you can enter up to 5 keywords in this box. You also, should not use single-word keywords, as the result will be a lot of unrelated bids. When setting up any keyword, DauThau.info software will search and filter this keyword in the entire text and characters of all bidding packages. So if you leave the keyword alone, there will be countless results that do not meet your needs!
Example:
You want to find bidding packages for industrial electricity but set a single keyword as: "Electricity"

The result will be a lot of unrelated bidding packages, unknown demand for industrial electricity and quite general in the field of electricity, such as "Dien Bien", "thermoelectricity", "Electricity",... ( photo 1.5) Surely this is not what you want!

5. Search interval: As the name suggests, you can choose how long to search for the information you need. In some cases, if you do not have a specific timeline, you should change this timeline accordingly to get the desired search results.
6. Absolute search: When you check this box, the software will understand that you want to search exactly the information you have filled in other information fields including punctuation, keyword content and also typographical errors.
For example, you fill in:
Main keyword: Construction
Then you check the absolute search box, the software will produce results with the exact keyword "Construction".
7. Additional keywords: Keywords entered in this field will be required in the bid package. If you enter 5 keywords, all 5 keywords are required keywords. This keyword field can be used to limit the geographical area receiving bid information.
Example you enter:
Main keywords: Construction, Construction, Design
Additional keywords: software.
The software will produce results in which the keyword "software" is required and may or may not have the three main keywords "Construction, Construction, Design"
Note:
You should not use too many keywords in this field, because the percentage of bidding packages with keywords at the same time will be very low, even no results will be found. If you want to zoning by area, you can leave additional keywords here is the area you need to find.
For example: If you want to find a bidding package in Hanoi, just put the additional keyword: "
Hanoi" not "
Hanoi City" or "
Hanoi, Hung Yen" (photo 1.)

8. No words: All information with keywords entered in this field will not appear in the returned search results. Use this field when searching results there is a lot of information not right for your needs, not related to the industry you need. The maximum number of keywords is 5 keywords.
9. Bidding form: In person or Online, leave it as it is if you want to search by both.
10. Industry and Business Type: You choose according to your business information, if you do not check the box, the default software is "All"
11. Security money and bid price:: You fill in the financial capacity of the company.
Step 5. Save filters.
After filling in all the above information, click the "Search" box to get the results. In case the result that the software returns is exactly as you want, click on the red circled item in photo 1.7 to save the filter for next time.

After clicking save filter, you will be redirected to the search filter management interface page as shown in image 1.8, where you can change "Set name filter" and other information accordingly then click the box "Save" to save. Once the filter is saved, it will appear in the "Your Filters" section so you can use it immediately when you log in like in photo 1.9.

Here you also can edit quickly the filter you have set up by clicking the edit filter info button or clicking on "YOUR FILTER" to Quick access to the filter management page to update and edit the necessary information.
Hopefully with the above guidelines and suggestions, contractors will use search filters more effectively. To use the search filter, contractors need to have an account on DauThau.info.
